As usual, the advantage of Turbo Tax is the ability to avoid duplication of effort, by importing data from last year's return, and by transferring data from federal to state returns.
On the other hand, filing state returns for free is now much more difficult than it needs to be. First, the e-file federal for free, together with file on paper for state for free, option no longer exists. Second, my state (Virginia) essentially requires that a complete paper copy of the federal return be filed (I have had tax returns rejected solely for that reason). Turbotax does not produce the needed paper copy of the federal return... If you attempt to substitute a "print for your records" copy, that will have dozens of pages of unnecessary "worksheets", which I have no desire to share with state bureaucrats...

Confident with results

I was having some confusion and concerns about an income section. A good friend who is a CPA reviewed my return and assured me that everything was accurate. My confidence level using Turbo Tax has increased greatly.
What's great about it: Steps walk me through each section with ease
What's not so great: Didn't use my figures from previous year and did use TT
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbotax Forever

I like all the explanations , hints and directions. It almost makes you believe that taxes are a good thing (almost) Thanks for all the help.
What's great about it: Easy to use, even for me.
What's not so great: Can not think of any.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This was my 19th year to use Turbo Tax and it has gotten better each year.
What's great about it: The help feature is outstanding
What's not so great: Too many requests to upgrade or buy a related product

it was okay all fees should be bundled up.

Easy Refund

Easy and liked the ability to stop at any time. Liked that it pulled info from previous year's taxes and also used that for comparison. Liked ability to tie into It's Deductible.

Turbo tax is easy to use and by using it every year importing the previous years info makes it a snap
