I have used TurboTax since it was run from a floppy because no one had hard drives. Since the interface has stabilized it gets easier every year. Accuracy and the ability to update information entered is the best. The Step-by-Step system is easily followed and covers almost everything except the rarest and most esoteric problems.
What's great about it: You no longer change the interface every year!!!
What's not so great: Some "Data Source" links are not as helpful as they could be.

The step by step process is very easy to follow. TTax walks you through every step and it is very easy to get additional information on each topic.

EIC Issues

Had to specify I'd receive letter from IRS that I was not eligible for EIC to keep those worksheets & Schedule out of computations.
I'm disabled, get LTD from employer which also puts figure on W2 line 1 cause I get over $50,00 insurance and Third Party Sick Pay is on a W2 Line 1 (taxable portion only# for income #again unearned).
I don't believe TurboTax Deluxe was set-up for this kind of situation. Feel free to contact me if needed.
Otherwise, Turbo Tax is a great program & I've been using it for over 15 years I believe.

2014 - Turbo Tax as good as ever.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and I can't imagine doing my taxes without it. Living in a small town I can't count on always finding the right forms. I count on Turbo Tax having the forms and providing them when they're necessary. It takes the pressure off when I need it the most - at tax time!
What's great about it: Tax forms included, narrative walks you through the entire process and is simple to understand

Fasted way to prepare your taxes

I have been using TurboTax for many years, and each year I am more and more impressed with how easy it makes preparing my returns. It imports your basic info from the previous year's return (if you used TurboTax), and it can import my W-2 and most other tax documents from my bank and other investment institutions electronically. I would highly recommend TurboTax to anyone who wants an easy way to prepare their own taxes.

TuboTax was very easy to use. I have used other online tax software and I did not always understand some of the explanations that were provided. I hesitated at first to buying the TurboTax app but after using it the first time I am glad I did. It was well worth the purchase price.
What's great about it: explanations were easy to understand and system was quick
What's not so great: I did not like having to request the updates. They should have updated when I downloaded the files
