Happy its done!!!!

Overall, usually Turbo tax is the way to go! Today I figured out the update issue on my computer and thank goodness finally got it filed!
What's great about it: Very Helpful...walks you through everything
What's not so great: The updates were confusing on my MAC

Still a winner

On Colorado state exclusion of retirement income, why did it say my wife was under 55 (and therefore check the box) when the program knows good and well that she's 70!
What's great about it: Makes it easy and organized to sit down and do it
What's not so great: There could be easier ways to decide whether or not to even consider some deductions (i.e. medical).

Security Question No Help

I have no record that I ever set up a security question, but the system says I did and I believe them. Problem is the system gave me no help resetting it. ID and password help worked well, but the on line help was no help for the security question.
That said, I have used TurboTax for a few years and am generally happy with the product.
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: No help resetting my security question

Overall Turbo Tax is a tool used by people who are not trained in book keeping or taxes to be able to file their own tax returns quickly and conveniently with confidence.
What's great about it: explaination/ time saving
What's not so great: technology vs. a person

Very pleased with Turbo Tax Deluxe. Works like a charm every time. Had one issue with updating the Turbo tax on my iMac this year. called support problem resolved in less than 30min. Support representative was AWESOME.
What's great about it: easy to install and very detailed
What's not so great: if you ask for detailed review it will literally walk you through EVERY option

While I might had one issue with a non-standard form and had to call TurboTax, I was connected with both a service rep (first) AND a TurboTax accountant advisor (after my issue went beyond the initial help). That simply rocked!! The advisor was EXTREMELY helpful. Right there was worth the money....PERIOD!! Thanks TurboTax....you make a lousy experience in general almost pleasant:) LOL!!
What's great about it: Easy, almost foolproof
What's not so great: Had one problem with one form...but got fixed
