Needed assistance and unable to access it. quickly.
Couldn't log in with my email address to account. Don't know that I have one but have used this software for at least 3 to 4 yrs.
So, please let me know, do I have an account with your company or do I have to initial one in order to access information.
Not super tech savvy, :-( But I do love Turbo!
What's great about it: fairly familiar with forms and process/great e-filing
What's not so great: lack of clarity with qualified vs un-qualified plans

Turbo Tax did the job and replaced having a Tax preparation service do our taxes. Lots of screens that seemed unnecessary but I guess that is the price for one program fits all. I happy with the product. Would have preferred that it transferred data from my 2012 inputs.
What's great about it: Did all of the calculations and helped me through my first pass error that was rejected by the IRS. Seemed complete.
What's not so great: Did not locate and update my 2013 1040 from my 2012 1040 form. Auto download didn't function. Could be a privacy risk.is

A Little Frustration

I like Turbo Tax and will continue to use it to prepare my tax returns, but I was really frustrated when I tried to do the State Return and the software wouldn't pull up. I stayed on the line for an hour with the Turbo Tax Rep. and I finally gave up. Nothing he did. He was very patient and tried to walk me through it. I finally had to give up. I figured out my virus protection prevented me from upgrading the software. My frustration with Turbo Tax was just the way some of the questions were asked. I don't remember it being as confusing before. I appreciate how this software is set up, but I felt like I should have had a better grasp of it, since I've used it for more than ten years.
What's great about it: The instructions were different than I remember from last year.
What's not so great: The instructions seemed a little difficult.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used turbo tax for 4 years now and it has always proved reliable. The program is quick, easy, and thorough. Best deal all around!

Easy to use

Great product. Even better and easier than last year. The only problem I had was that some of the needed information on my W-2 form did not import and I had to update it manually. Then the program created a second W-2 (blank) for that employer that passed all the reviews. It eventually told me that my return could not be e-filed & then I became aware of the issue and deleted the blank W-2. After that, everything was great. I still really like the program and will buy it next year.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything.
What's not so great: Import of W-2 was problematic

Very comprehensive program for the first timer and repeating users. Easy to use and file.... an all-around great program.
What's great about it: Good advice, help, and explainations
What's not so great: Not much - I could not fine fault with the process
