We were not pleased that since we had to change computers because Turbo Tax would not load on Windows XP this year, I tried to save 2012 return on a stick drive. Trying to find out how to do that was difficult. It didn't work,so we had to start from scratch this year. Since we are getting a new stack with Windows 7 on the previous computer, we will in all likelyhood have to start over again next year. Unless there is a way to import data between computers. That would be wonderful! We have used Turbo Tax since 2008 at the advice of our son. No problems until this year with the computer shift.
What's great about it: Thorough
What's not so great: We had to change computers and it wouldn't pick up 2012 info from a jumpstick memory.

I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO USE TURBOTAX.
I` ve been using turbotax now for 4 years. I like how step by step information helps me with all that's needed. Checking everything as you move along. It`s like having my own personal accountant in my home. Thank You TURBOTAX!!!

When doing final review, I needed to go back to schedule C to accomplish what the error check said I missed, but it didn't let me do that, or I just couldn't figure it out. It's ok. I did it another way.
What's great about it: Clean and crisp...well explained
What's not so great: none

Fastest way of doing taxes

I have used TurboTax for many years and have never had a problem with it. The one feature that excited me the most when it was introduced is the "ItsDeductible" feature that assigns a value to items that have been donated to Goodwill, etc. The first year I used it I knew I had previously undervalued the amount of charitable contributions. If anyone is still doing their taxes by hand, I highly recommend they make the small investment in purchasing TurboTax. Oh, I do like the new feature added this year of importing my W2 information. Pretty slick!!
What's great about it: With the download of last year's return, using TurboTax makes filing so quick and easy!
What's not so great: Cannot think of one.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years. For the past couple of years, I have had to enter multiple Form W2-Gs. They are from the same place, but each one has to be entered individually. It would be GREAT if Turbo Tax could enable a "duplicate last entry" feature into each one of the individual boxes when entering information from the W2-Gs. It gets old really fast when one has to keep entering address information, along with Tax id, phone numbers, etc, for over 30 different W2-G forms! This is a simple thing for you guys to do!
What's great about it: wasy to understand
What's not so great: Not able to merge two returns together
