What's great about it: Simple, clear and trustworthy

Continues to be easy to use. Could be more explanation of some underlying points, numbers didn't always seem to make sense without going into the worksheets. A brief overview of the most salient points of each line item would be helpful
What's great about it: good step by step approach
What's not so great: didn't seem as transparent as previous years

THERE APPEARS $11. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS CAME FROM; I DIDN'T ENTER IT.
2. SHOULD HAVE DELETE TURBO TAX BUILT INTO THE PROGRAM WHEN TAXES ARE COMPLETED, BUT KEEP THE DATA FILE. IF THIS CAPABILITY IS THERE IT'S NOT VERY CLEAR.

Still a good product

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years now and I still think it is a great product. It was a little unstable this year, one time it crashed and I had trouble checking some of the boxes with my mouse. In the past it has been stable as a rock. I do, however, use XP and since it is moving into the land of unsupported software, maybe that is the reason of the slight instability...not sure.
I would still recommend it to those who do their own taxes.

Proven great for years!!!

Overall, great, as it has been in past years. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years, as it is accurate and fast. I like the online help and thorough error checking. This year, I had a slight problem with e-filing, but it was quickly resolved by restarting my computer.
What's great about it: Accurate and fast

MD pension credit error

although Turbo tax is usually reliable, it would not let me correct its error on Maryland return in taking a pension credit against Maryland retirement income. Question not answered in online forum.

It was excellent that I don't have to use my calculator anymore.
Just follow, read and understand the explanation and the Turbo will did it for us.

2013 Tax

Turbo Tax has seemed to be getting simpler every year while becoming more of a pain to use. Will likely try another tax program next year
What's great about it: Imports last years info quickly
What's not so great: Having to scroll down on almost every page to continue. Having to click on the "none of these apply to me" choice
