Better than last year

By the time you get to the point of wanting to hit the help button to understand if/how to take a deduction the written information seems to cause more questions than it answers.
What's great about it: I was only asked a few times to fill out a state return when the program already knew I didn't live in a state with tax
What's not so great: It was difficult to get back to the questions about refinace points
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbotax walks you through the taxes

TurboTax walks you through each step and asks every possible question about your tax filing. It is so easy to use.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Not as good as 2012

Changes made to the program from 2012 made this year's program less clear, Don't like the elimination of naming each form as you go along.Colorado
What's great about it: Step by step process. Running statement of taxes owed/refund.
What's not so great: Sale of rental house confusing.

Pretty much as advertised. Have used TurboTax for several years and have no complaints.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Cost for e-filing state returns.

Resume return lacking

I did my taxes over several days. When I resumed it did not pick up where I left off. Had to "wade" thru pages to get to my last entry. As I recall it was not this way in the past. If you exit before completion, TurboTax should pickup where you lsft off.

we had a lot of trouble with the updates in then program and not being able to file as quickly.
What's great about it: quicker than going to a tax person
What's not so great: lots of updates and not enough help along the way

Easier to Understand Than Past

Find out why the downloads kept saying they were there when they had already been downloaded.
What's great about it: The program is easier to work with than in previous years.
What's not so great: I had a problem with downloads saving and allowing me to continue return.
