Not quite there

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, and never had a problem before this year. It was a small one - the program insisted that the income reported on a W-2 at Box 12 Code C (Taxable Cost of group-term life insurance over $50,000) was taxable in Pennsylvania when it was not, and refused to e-file my return.
What's great about it: Did an excellent job of producing a federal return.
What's not so great: Refused to e-file Pennsylvania because of error in the program.

This is the right tool for doing your taxes yourself. It walks you step by step through most tax situations that might apply to you. A real help.

Turbo Tax is very accurate in calculating step by step through the whole program up to the end. The only BIG problem I have is trying to print the file which only option it gives you is print preview and when you click on it it directs you to Microsoft Works which then says it can not ope the file!!!!!
What's great about it: Very easy to follow all the steps
What's not so great: Can not print files as it links to Microsoft Works, which won't open
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Best solution to a human-caused disaster

Since we're stuck with this Godawful federal income tax system FOR NOW, TurboTax is an invaluable help. Yet there are always cracks, loopholes, confusing gobbledegook etc. to deal with, and even TT can't have all the answers. Tell your state legislators to vote for a Convention of States per Article V of the U.S. Constitution, and to repeal the 16th Ammendment and replace it with either a flat tax or a VAT (national sales tax)!
What's great about it: Great Help Center!
What's not so great: Repeal the 16th Ammendment!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
