Makes taxes easy!

Taxes got complicated this year, but TT helped me through some new forms I needed to file. Made a stressful situation easy!
I love that fed filing is free and think that the state filing should be as well!
What's great about it: help me through some new/less common forms
What's not so great: state filing should be FREE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Makes paying taxes almost fun

TurboTax makes this annual struggle a lot easierl. This year I had a pretty simple return to prepare and TurboTax made it a snap. Usually I dread the process, but this was simple. Last year my return was considerably more difficult due to numerous tax events that happened to occur in the same year. But TurboTax made it pretty easy. I even had to call a friend who is a CPA and does tax preparation work for several business clients and personal friends, about some finer points about tax compliance. I found out that although he has numerous other tax preparation software available, he uses TurboTax all the time as it is easier to use and very thorough. I thought that was a great endorsement.
What's great about it: Easy and intuitive to use. Explains everything step-by-step
What's not so great: Don't really have any cons

Easy to use

This is a good program that lead you through what you need. I rated it a "good" because I think "excellent" is too strong to use for this program. It seems to be hard to get around screens but I do not have recommendations for improvement.
What's great about it: This is much improved over previous years. A couple of years ago, I was tempered to change software.
What's not so great: I think it is hard to go from form to form. Sometimes I like seeing it on a form and this is not user friendly.

It is very easy to use, save time, carry information from form to form, from federal to state, so you enter data only once.

I enjoy using TurboTax. Makes filing so easy it's almost enjoyable even if you still owe taxes.

AS GOOD AS USUAL

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years. I find it consistent. I particularly like the down load of previous years info.
What's great about it: It is easy to follow. Able to jump around to check things out.
What's not so great: Back button sometimes takes you back too far. You have to input data or check it again.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
