Very Good

I have used turbo tax for a number of years and understand it and like it.
What's great about it: easy of understanding what needs to be done
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy and painless

I have used TurboTax for years. I would never use any other program. It is easy to understand and quick to use after I have all tax information prepared...love it!
What's great about it: Using Turbotax is so easy and fast.
What's not so great: I always have a problem finding where I need to put in business expenses such as mileage and meals...

2013 Returns - Federal and State

I did my taxes by hand for many years. However, the number of forms, worksheets and calculations just got to be too much. I like the fact that TurboTax does all of these things quickly and accurately. I also like the fact that you can do your state tax as well with TurboTax filling in much of the information from the Federal return. It's worth the extra money to file my state form since TurboTax checks the final return for accuracy. The online filing service for my state does not check for accuracy.
What's great about it: TurboTax does all the calculations and worksheets.

We have been using TurboTax for years and absolutely love how easy it is to add all the information. We get the refund much faster this way too. Went to a tax preparer one year instead of using TurboTax; hated it! They asked for the same information TurboTax asked for; input the taxes again on a friends TurboTax software (for peace of mind) and came out with the same results. If we had just trusted our gut and used TurboTax instead of going to a accountant we could have saved more than half the cost of the preparer. Would recommend this software to everyone!
What's great about it: Easy to install, easy to understand
What's not so great: none that I can think of

Simple and Straght-forward again

One afternoon and I am done with my taxes. Reviewed with the wife the next morning and Bang! we are filed.
I would like a copy of TurboTax that included at least one Free State file. Even if that reduces the number of Free Fed filings.
What's great about it: Detailed questions gets it all
What's not so great: Should not charge for State e-file
