Very very fast

since i did my taxes with TurboTax last year, i simply imported last year's file & let it do most of the work. very simple & concise instructions.
What's great about it: fast & reliable every year
What's not so great: -none-
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Fill in the blanks

Started using this product back when it was owned by Parson's tax preparation program. I found that over the years as the IRS Tax Code changed, the government seems to be getting a bigger pay day, and the middle of the road citizen is getting less and less bang for his buck. I am thankful that Turbo Tax is an easy program to zip through with little effort and confusion.
What's great about it: Real easy for those who have limited income oe deductions.
What's not so great: A few items difficult to understand for senior citizens.

2013 tax adventures

Turbo Tax.......
I love Turbo Tax because I feel empowered and motivated to participate in the tax filing process. I believe that individuals that complete and participate are better citizens for understanding how income and deductions work together, whether you agree with the process or not!
I am always left with the nagging feeling that I should be more knowledgeable after completing the process.
My suggestion is a series of Webinars that provide an overview of the changes from year to year for simple items like income and deductions.
I would be available to provide any help that you would require.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax continues to provide a detailed, easy to use, complete, platform to complete tax forms.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax, as any interactive platform would, requires the participant to participate.

First problematic software

I have used TTax for the last 5 years and never had a problem. This year it said Federal Forms 1040, 8283 and Schedule A were not available. When I tried to download updates, My PC froze. Ultimately I had to Manually download the update.

Turbo Tax has removed any and all concerns for errors when completing your tax return. The step-by-step process is quite thorough and efficient. Highly recommend this product.
