The question and answer EasyGuide format, coupled with clearly organized, easy-to-understand online help, makes it easy to complete your tax returns. TurboTax checks for updates throughout the return process, too. With TurboTax, I feel confident I've prepared my return accurately.
There used to be a W-4 calculator, to help you determine if you need to adjust your withholding. There was also a 401K contribution calculator that let you see how changing your pre-tax contribution would affect your take-home pay. I miss those - they were very helpful.
What's great about it: EasyGuide. Context-sensitive help.
What's not so great: Estimating tools removed

Easier than I thought but took longer than I expected
What's great about it: Loved refund listed and changing as you progressed
What's not so great: Listing all the charities was a downer. Actually stopped before I had listed everything

Had a couple of misc. deductions that were very hard to find exactly where they went in the system.
What's great about it: Easy to Move From Step to Step

Even this Santa can appreciate the ease and effort needed to

What's great about it: Quick, complete, easily understood and easily used
What's not so great: Didn't appreciate the additional popups during the reviews etc.

Could be better!

If my personal info transfers every year, TurboTax should've been able to give me a warning about not getting the child tax credit when my child turned 17 years old. I thought that would happen at 18. This really messed me up and I was not prepared to have to pay a large amount in taxes. If I had known, I could've had more of my income withheld during the year and not had this surprise. Otherwise, I have been happy using TurboTax over the years.
What's great about it: Love that my info transfers every year.
What's not so great: No warnings of changes in the upcoming year.

Easy and Fast!!

I was a little nervous about doing my own taxes but Turbo tax made it easy and fast! They asked a lot of questions to maximize your refund. It was a thorough and great way to do taxes! I love Turbo Tax!

Makes it easy

I like using Turbo Tax. I feel much less stressed about doing my own taxes, I hate paying an expensive fee to have it done by someone else.
What's great about it: Pulls in information from last year
What's not so great: Some updates seemed slow

I've used TurboTax for many years and expect to use it for many years to come. Great product!!!
What's great about it: Walked me right through the process. Easy and gave me much confidence in the process.
