Easy Peasy

On a whole, the experience was as painless as doing your taxes can be. From complete answers to questions and tips on how to lessen your taxes, you feel confident in your work. I have tried several other tax services and Turbo Tax is my choice to do my taxes with.
What's great about it: ease of use

Excellent product

TurboTax found many deductible items, or I would have had a much larger tax liability. This is the first year of RMDs and I didn't do very good tax planning, but TurboTax helped me wade through the details.
What's great about it: Able to go back and update previous screens
What's not so great: None, other than I had to pay Federal this year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

So Simple to use

I've been using Turbo Tax for the past 4 years. So quick and easy could not say enough about this product, but buy it,complete your taxes and done by April 15th.
What's great about it: Step by step and easy to complete

Both of my sons have used Turbo Tax for several years now and have been telling me that I should use it, too. I am not all that great on the computer and have been afraid that I would have trouble with it. I have just e-filed. It was so easy to follow. I am so glad I took my boys' advise!

2013 Wasn't as Good as 2012

I loved TurboTax the last two years. This year, it doubled my interest income, and I had to go back and manually correct it. After entering all my medical expenses, it left that area of the 1040 Schedule A blank instead of showing my expenses & then the % of income, for a total deduction of zero (0) dollars! I like to see that amount for comparison from year-to-year, but it wouldn't enter it. I tried THREE times to do my medical expenses so it would show it on the return, even though my actual deduction equals zero. Ugh!
What's great about it: Efile is easy
What's not so great: System kept changing things, doubled some things

line problem 21 on ga state taxes

had not received my state return after 5 weeks so I called and found out a lot of people who used turbo tax this year had last years refund amount added to this years return In short line error on line 21

What's not so great: program had an error which delayed and est my return wrong

I felt that I hade better control over the program. I hope it is as easy next year to complete.
What's great about it: The program is the best that I have used since using intuit and then turbo tax
