Simple to do completely!

TurboTax was easy to operate and it saved me money from having to see a professional tax preparer.
What's great about it: It was easy to enter and save the data
What's not so great: Nothing at all

2013 TT Review

To improve the TT prog, allow printing of TT windows along any of the steps. I would like to print the comparison tax from 2012 and 2013, for my info, but couldn't. TT only print the tax forms.
What's great about it: Very Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Printing has too many restrictions

Owed Money, but it knew it going in.

Knew before I started that I was going to owe, only question was how much. I had reduced interest expense and property tax (sold a second home). Did a great job of quiding me through all the phases. I need to plan my w-2 better for 2014.
What's great about it: Very detailed in all phases of tax return. Complete, up to date. Easy to use.
What's not so great: Advertising.

First time user!

For the most part the program was easy to get through. After doing my taxes long hand for years, it was nice to see them get done on a computer and e-file instead of mailing it.
What's great about it: Was able to do federal and state together.
What's not so great: Maybe could have helped understand the HSA section better.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and saved hundreds of dollars not paying a preparer. I've always done my own taxes but Turbo Tax really streamlines the process. Never had a problem and never an audit.
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step process takes you through every conceivable deduction.
What's not so great: None

Should have been easy this year because of low income, etc. I moved the prior year. Handling very small pension was screwed up for days. There were other glitches. This billionaire company is getting worse as the years go by
What's great about it: I am used to Turbotax
