We have used the program for several years and consider it to be the most user-friendly and comprehensive tax preparation software that we have used. The program is intuitive and inspires confidence with its easily available information. E-file is a snap and we appreciate the ability to use snail mail for the State return.
What's great about it: Gets easier to use and better every year.

Excellent Software

I've used TurboTax for many years and have always enjoyed the simplicity of the program and the accuracy of the return. It saves a lot of time since it transfers last years information to the present year and eliminates the need to input all deductions and earnings statements every year.
What's great about it: quick, easy, accurate, uses prior info-saves time
What's not so great: absolutely none

Only tax prep software I have ever used...

Easy to use. I just wish more than one State Return was included or the price of more than one State Return was not as expensive. For the price of the program, it should include more than one State Return.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Wish there was more State Returns included for the price.

Takes the pain out of the process - choose the "Guide Me" option - it's like sitting across from a human tax preparer! All situations are covered.

When Turbo Tax is requesting that I pay for State e-filing or for audit defense, it would be helpful if the page requesting my credit card information would tell me what it is for. I was concerned that I was paying for the same thing twice, but I think I was not. It would be clearer if the information was displayed.
What's great about it: Everything was easy except paying
What's not so great: State form marked one of my pensions military when it was not.
