slighty better then doing it on paper with fingers

you enter your name and address - which includes state - then it asks you a bunch of state - based questions - you already know the state!
You enter your w-2 info which has your 401k info - yet the 401k info never gets to the forms unless you put it in by hand - EVERY YEAR! - I CAN NOT TAKE THAT ANYMORE!
What's great about it: slightly better than paper
What's not so great: everytime you turn around there is another charge
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So easy!!

TurboTax Deluxe was even faster and easier than last year. We are sure we got our maximum refund and are VERY pleased! We will stick with TurboTax in the future. Thanks for a great product.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: "Help" explanations had very tiny print that was hard to read
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great program

This program saved me hundreds of dollars. Compared to getting taxes done or doing them yourself, it was exonerating.
What's great about it: Easy to find info from help features
What's not so great: I have no idea of what I was doing, hope it works ok.

I have been using this tax package for years. It walks you through the process (if you desire) of you can go directly to the individual forms. It transfers all you did from prior years so I do not forget anything.
What's great about it: Easy import of information from prior year.

Help is better than ever

Better answers to those complex and pesky questions than in previous years. Even for those questions that I asked last year and couldn't remember the answers.
Would be even better if every box on the final form could be scrolled over to find out where that number came from when it is not obvious, particularly between federal and state forms. A couple I had to pull out the calculator to figure it out, so if I could see if the number was correct since it didn't correlate with anything obvious.

A great product! It walks you through the process, asking questions you wouldn't think to consider if you were doing the taxes yourself. The explanation for the questions, and what is and what is not covered, is very helpful in determing whether they pertain to you. So easy I almost look forward to tax season!
