More glitches this year than previous. It took me three tries before I could file electronically. Although the transfer of 2012 Turbotax return was successful, often the 2012 data did not show up on the screenshots meant to compare that year with 2013. I even called for help, and the helper could only suggest that I delete and start over, which I did not do. There were other cues that had me scratching my head, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. Next year I may just hire somebody to do it. And by the way, this search for a nickname that your computer will accept has become a pain. Why do you even need a nickname?
The Virginia tax return could be made more informative and user friendly. In those regards, it needs some real updating.

Using Turbo for my 2013 Taxes

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and it always comes through for me. I use the Deluxe Edition and find it does all my stuff that I need to do.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and to move around within the system.
What's not so great: It prints out the pages for sending in estimated taxes without asking - waste of paper

I have used TurboTax for many years without problems, however this year I could not E-file state return because of new restrictions concerning tax amounts withheld on W2 form. Ex: (2 withheld amounts same). Otherwise still great product.

Delux too much

Tried online filing, got started, but couldn't get logged back on. Tried several times after 15 minutes of grinding to log on, I quit each time. Please let me know if this information can be scammed. I have had several friends who have been scammed on thieir income tax, one lost a Social Security check.
What's great about it: Did everything I needed
What's not so great: Don't itemize, just need Delux for IRA investments
