First when filing out TT - Q: "do you want a copy?" - I get one copy of estimated tax forms - four pieces of paper.
Then I print a copy to send - more estimated tax forms!
Finally I print a copy for my records ---- what!!! More copies of the estimated tax forms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check what's been printed. If I want more, I'll ask!
What's not so great: too many copies of est tax

Overall, quick and easy - especially if you file the prior year with TurboTax and it just updates your info.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: IRA gets a little funky, it trys to farm you out to specific IRA providers.

Good: My PC died just as I hit transmit to eFile. Had to start again on a different PC. Some problems, but ultimately 98% of previous efforts were recovered and securely eFiled.
Bad: No matter what I tried TTax considered 1099-R rollovers (Box 7: G) as current income. Finally left them out.
What's great about it: Recovery features
What's not so great: Input do overs of data areas previous addressed
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Found it almost impossible to determine what to do with school grants and expenses for dependents.
What's great about it: Normal stuff is very easy.
What's not so great: school expenses and grants are very confusing.

Horribly frustrating......I spent a LOT of time on the discussion board trying what seemed to work for other people.
I have NEVER filed this late!
What's great about it: Up to filing, and that is the purpose, good product I have used for years.
What's not so great: An update loop that would not allow the transmission of FED taxes

I work for my refund

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years. I like that my information transfers to the next year easily. I love It's Deductible online - and it has improved over the years. The worst part of doing my taxes (besides gathering all the information) is trying to deduct the health insurance our employer has now added to our wages. Through the Turbo Tax community, I found the answer last year. It is still very difficult to do, but my answer was saved in the community, so it was quicker this year. It would be nice if this was addressed in the step by step under K-1.
What's great about it: step by step
What's not so great: need Turbo Tax community for more difficult questions

Efficient Tax Prep

This is roughly the 20th year I have used TurboTax to enter data and file my tax return. I appreciate the downloading of previous year's tax data, the prompting for tax situations I might have missed, the ability to add/delete/change data input, the ability to look at "what if" tax situations, the explanations and/or links to further information on a topic that Turbo Tax provides. I like the reviews T Tax provides and the ability to file my taxes electronically without worrying that I am forgetting to mail in an important form. I could do without the sales pitches for other T tax related products. Also, it would be nice if you are NOT importing data, you could answer the question ONCE instead of each time you enter data into a certain category [I am particularly thinking of interest and dividend income here]. Overall, I am very pleased with TurboTax. It has made tax filing much easier than in the years of manually preparing a return [several times until you get it right]!
What's great about it: ease of downloading previous year's info, ease of making changes to data input, prompts for things you forgot to enter
What's not so great: not obvious how to enter supporting details. repetitive questioning of whether you are importing or entering data yourse
