Md State tax

Please fix the Maryland state return. I had to file my taxes and send it in on the 502 form by hand and trash the 502X amended form. Since I didn't have a amended return, but could not change it anywhere on turbo tax. Because turbo tax kept putting it as a amend return I could not e file either. Stupid forms.
What's not so great: Maryland state return, kept putting my un-filed 2013 tax return as a 2013 amended return when it was not..

some screens don't allow setting a flag directly on that screeen - had to go back or ahead a bit.
In some cases, after going back to verify an entry, had to step thru subsequent related screens and in some cases re-enter their data. Less convenient than somehow exiting from the screen of initial interest

TurboTax deserves my rating of 5 stars this year. As a multi-state filer, previous versions of the program required manual override to correct calculation errors. This year, the program executed without error. Applying for the education expense deduction has improved as well.
Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: simplified help acces
What's not so great: first year I DIDN't need to manually correct assumptions

What's great about it: Usually can understand what they are asking
What's not so great: Need a general understanding of taxes...can gain by doing!

Was able to navigate without too much difficulty. I did have to get accustomed to seeing 2012 and 2013 information together.

It is helpful to learn to do your own taxes through Turbo Tax rather than have someone else do it, because you learn so much about your own financial situation and you learn how you can reduce your tax liability in future years. Knowledge is power is money.

The copying of the federal an state data to the Kansas return did not happen the first time I started the Kansas return. I also had problems e-filing the Kansas return. It kept saying I should not enter personal data directly on the personal worksheet but when I deleted it I got an error indicating the data was missing.
