Easy. Thorough. Helpful at each category. Excellent.
2nd year to use Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Step by step. Easy to include everything./not miss anything.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

EIC: any civilized program will give you a drop down box under
"dependent" 1. child living with you,2...3...4 dependent for the EIC only. 5. dependent for the child tax credit only. With TT, you have to go to the work sheet and back into it. There are a lot of other things just like that. BUT since they change every year, it is pointless to dwell on them.

What's great about it: auto-fil, logical tax return order
What's not so great: you "can't get there from here" without bypassing the program.

I havo been using TURBO TAX for over 6 years. It sure has made filing LESS painful. Carry over info makes it easier and quicker to complete taxes without errors.
I did have some difficulty printing and exiting from the print preview page using Windows 8

I was in the redit section of my return and wanted to look at the 1040 to get the agi . I went to the form ok but couldn't find a way to get back to where i was in the retun so i just closed the program and reopened turbo tax and it went to where i left off.....should be a "back to return " button or arrow..if there was i couldn't find it
What's not so great: no obvious way to go "back" from forms to return that was in progress

I have used Turbo Tax for over a dozen years and will continue for years in the future. I trust TT and I have come complexity with my personal tax situation.

Turbo Tax makes it so easy

Turbo tax makes doing my taxes very quick and easy and I feel like it doesn't let me miss anything. I love using it's deductible to track my donations and the value of the items. The only thing I don't like is the state will ask things like what portion of this capital gain is your spouse's. It would help if turbo tax could ask that question when we were entering the data. It's hard to go back and figure out where it came from.
What's great about it: answer the questions and you're done
What's not so great: state forces me to go back and check things

Fairly easy to work on taxes

Overall, it was fairly easy for me to prep my taxes with TurboTax this year. In fact it was easier than last year (pop up reminders) and as long as I was methodical, and for the most part I was, it was not difficult. I have many things to enter for my taxes, and it was clear and not difficult to do. Time consuming, yes, but not difficult. Relief!
What's great about it: Clear, methodical
What's not so great: A few things were strange
