Turbo Tax is very easy to follow and gets you to think about items you haven't thought about in the past.

Very good software

Going back to review for errors and going to the forms, the program was not flexible in navigating between the forms. It should have continued asking questions unless I asked to view forms.
What's great about it: Good guidance throughout

Buggy

Federal filing was relatively simple. Better extensive home office deductions available (which made my experience a lot faster since I work in the video game industry and use expensive tools).
However upon downloading the state return thats when crashes began. Eventually, after a couple of hours scouring through the TurboTax forums, I fixed the problem (it was a corrupted install state saved within the .plist cache file).
Of course before I figured that out I went and did all the usual steps of uninstalling, fresh install, restarting.
Needless to say, paying for such a buggy product and then fretting over whether or not you'd have to redo your taxes, is rather frustrating.
What's great about it: Interface is super simple, easier home office walkthroughs
What's not so great: Crashing installations, buggy State assistant downloads and installs
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Guidance by color.

Really like the error checking feature and how it highlights the boxes that the tax form is expecting the data entry or a dollar amount to be entered. Like how the tool guides you through the preparation and has a lot of 'Explain this' features.
What's great about it: Liked how Turbo Tax highlights the errors by color.
What's not so great: Add a button right on the household item list page to enable navigation to entering your own item and value.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It would be nice if there was a version that provided more than one down load for states. For many of us that live near the property line and need to file multiple states, it would be nice to have a slightly higher initial fee.
Also as stated in the snapshot, if the system sees reoccurring entries, it could give the option to skip all the qualification questions, like when entering rental property information, such as material participation, ownership, rented the entire year, rented for fair market rent etc.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: On re-occuring entries it would be nice to be asked to skip repeat questions

No Stress Taxes

I've used Turbo Tax for years and am still confident I'm getting the same refund we would if we used an outside service. I also love that it saves pertinent information needed from year to year.
What's great about it: so easy, walks you through every entity of filing taxes
What's not so great: should offer 2 free state filing or at least file other state claims with a reasonable fee
