Disappointed

I downloaded updates and tried to file electronically several times. I'm really disappointed in the software this year having to mail in my return!
What's great about it: Love Turbo Tax and have used for many years
What's not so great: It would not let me file electronically even after updates installed

I only had to refer to Google one time get a copy of Publication 721 tax guide. Why can't you supply a link to this site?

Mostly great, but...

Turbo Tax is great. I've used it for years, and I plan to continue. I just had one small issue this year that was frustrating. I do freelance work on the side, and I didn't receive a 1099-MISC from one of my clients. I don't think they filed one, but I reported it anyway. However, I didn't feel as though it was clear where that income was to be reported.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Trouble figuring out what do do if I didn't get a 1099-MISC

I like using Turbo tax but have seen some issues arising.
I was not pleased that I was unable to update the Name of the Charity once entered. In addition I was unable to edit the 1099 Misc portion where it asks if it is for independent contractor and if so state type of position. Once you enter the position it doesn't allow you to go back and edit the position entered.
I notice the state filing fee keeps increasing. The amount is reaching an unreasonable amount when you consider buying the software and most of the time we are not getting any tax benefit for it.
The cost of the program seems to be increasing as well which is disappointing to see. This makes me think about what other programs there are if this trend continues.
What's great about it: Nice to have the previous years info transfer over
What's not so great: State Filing Fee, and unable to edit a fee items

This Years Turbo Tax - keeps getting faster

I think that this year's Turbo Tax was easier and clearer than ever before. There was no problem is navigating back through previous sections. E-filing both returns was so quick I thought it hadn't gone through to the IRS.
What's great about it: Simplified State return was so fast I couldn't believe that I was done so fast.
What's not so great: no problems

LOVE turbo tax. This is the only program I use for my tax returns and this year was by far the easiest yet!!
What's great about it: very easy to use, step by step instructions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
