I have used Turbo Tax for 7 years and think each year it gets easier to file with more complicated taxes. Being able to upload documents, especially when doing stock trading, saved me hours data entry time.
What's great about it: Loved being able to upload documents. Saved me hours of time.

It's fast, it's easy, all the information I need is right there. It keeps up with updates, it remembers my stuff from year to year. I love it.
What's great about it: At my pace, in my home, under my control.

Easy to Use, Great Performance

HAVE BEE USING TURBO TAX FOR YEARS AND WITH THE DELUXE VERSION YOU GET ONE STATE RETURN. PROBLEM IS THAT THERE IS A COST FOR FILING THE STATE RETURN ELECTRONICALLY EVEN IF YOU OWE FUNDS.

What's great about it: Fast, no calculation errors

TurboTax on Mac Maverick was NOT good

I am typically very satisfied with TurboTax. This year was a disappointment. When I looked for updates, turbotax said I was up to date. Then when downloading state taxes, Turbotax crashed and closed upon every launch. On the support page I found NUMEROUS people with the same problem and needed to a complete delete of all files in multiple folders and the app itself and do a re-install. Then look for updates in the preferences section. There were updates available. It finally worked.
What's great about it: It eventually worked
What's not so great: Crashed multiple times with state download issue
