Still so easy

I've used TurboTax for several years, and it is still the easiest way to do my taxes! And it cost less than using an income tax service. I feel confident that filing my taxes through TurboTax is accurate and gets me the biggest refund I deserve. I'll definitely continue to use TurboTax in the future!
What's great about it: Walks you through
What's not so great: Usually double check myself to be sure.

9th Year; Smoothest Ride Yet

Guidance questions clear & concise; availability of "edit" function during/after entries comforting; can stop/restart anytime. Should be taught in schools to future taxpayers.
What's great about it: Fast; easy to understand; inexpensive
What's not so great: IRS doesn't absorb cost since TT is saving them time & expense of processing still too high % of paper returns

Turbo Tax

I was very frustrated with the farm income and rental part. Took we four times till I got it right.
What's great about it: I really like how it helps you flow through it.
What's not so great: I have two different kinds farm income and rental and that took me a long tie to do

Works well, though importing is not intuitive

The 2013 version works well, so I'm not going to comment on all the positive features. I found 2 things to watch out for:
1. For someone who is used to the previous versions, I kept waiting for Step-by-step to ask to import deductions from Quicken or other software, but it never did. (It did ask about importing income). You can import, but you have to know to go to File| Import and you're never prompted to do so. Using the File | Import function is fine, and lets you preview and decide just what you want to import.
2. There's no obvious way to delete a form that you used last year but are not using this year. It would be nice if Forms view had a delete function. Instead, you have to go through step-by-step until it asks, and, for forms that interlock (eg, worksheets for non-cash contributions), it's hard to know where that will be. This results in going through a lot of steps that you've already done.

My Old Friend Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax since the very first year it was introduced. I can't imagine filing my taxes without my Old Friend Turbo Tax. Thank you for being there when needed

Wont Leave Home without it in April

I have been using turbo tax since 1982 and never went wrong. Sometimes I doubted it but when I took my taxes to get it reviewed by someone else. The someone else is the ones that got less.
What's great about it: Great advise when doint the review
What's not so great: Leads you on to think when you are making a mistake.

So easy

New 1099 details - easy to import - put everything in the right place.
What's great about it: Simple imports
What's not so great: Needed to do update - frustrated until I figured that out
