Outstanding Tax Return Program!

Great program for anyone! If you have never tried to do your own taxes this is for you! If you know how to do your taxes this program is for you! If walks you through the process step by step. You can't miss a deduction and if you are honest you shouldn't be audited! It is that simple!!!
What's great about it: Simple to use, walks you through the process
What's not so great: If you have to enter something directly into the form it can be tricky, but it is manageable

Turbo Tax handled my schedule K-1 flawlessly while another nationally know software program did not. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years and have had no problems at all.

Complex Return Solved Again!

Turbo Tax correctly handled my complex return that included the acquisition of a Master Limited Partnership investment by another MLP, net loss carry forwards from a previous capital loss, an S Corporation distribution, and a Schedule C business in the home. I also did my S Corporation return using Turbo Tax. I've used TT for about 20 years and never have I been audited!
What's great about it: I like being able to switch between Form and Step-by-step views

Taxes for the whole family

The program loaded easily and quickly found my past returns. It was great to have much of the information transfer from last year. Then automated downloads meant that I didn't have to manually enter many of the W2s and 1099s for my family. I found it a little annoying that I would have to pay for the state where my daughter had some part-time college income. Instead I went to the state's tax web site and found I could easily file my daughter's return there and then copy the results into her Turbotax return for our home state. Overall, a painless, simple process to file our returns.
What's great about it: With info from past years and automated W2 and 1099 downloads, returns for each member of the family were done fast.
What's not so great: Have to wait for updates each time the program is used, whether I needed them or not

I may not buy this next year. PayerID for State, 14 character digits was entered correctly but TT said it was wrong. No help online for this.
What's great about it: can't think o fany now
What's not so great: I hate 2013 Turbo tax, several instances of confustion
