Not As Good As Previous Years!

The directions in "Follow Me" does not allow all of the deductions that 2013 tax returns allow. Therefore, as going back over a return, you find that it does not suggest every deduction that should be mentioned. In previous years I did not find this to be true and fully enjoyed doing returns with my Turbo Tax software. The 2013 software was very difficult to follow and caused many problems that I had to go back to actual tax pages to see what was missing. This was very exasperating and nerve-wracking. Also, when printing out the Federal and the State returns at the same time, the pages were all mixed up and did not print out in order. I am not pleased with this year's software!
What's great about it: 2013 Turbo Tax Software was much faster than in previous years.
What's not so great: In the "Follow Me" the 2013 edition lacks a lot in giving a tax person the opportunity to go to deductions!

like visual info and software, if all items shown from last year might make easier fill out questions,
answer big questions so as not to ask some questions

Been using Turbo tax for at least 10 years, with exception of last year, which I regret. Never had any problems, this is an excellent tool. Thank you!

Always good but dropped the ball on gas lease!

I spent hours trying to fix the gas lease error. I tried all types of combinations - none worked. Finally a friend who also had the same problem helped me thru it. Turbo Tax put the property type as 1 (single dwelling residence) and it should be 7 - royalty property. The interview did it wrong and then stopped you from being able to e-file. Bad - Intuit! My 16th year with you was my first bad experience. It was updated as of 4/7/2014 so still no fix in this bug!
What's great about it: Usually easy
What's not so great: Put me in a bad loop on my gas lease - 1099/Shed. E

Getting my taxes done in one day

I like all the detail and it's unlikely I would miss an important detail.
What's great about it: I had to start over after I had to shut my computer down or I would have been finisihed 2 hrs ago.
What's not so great: see above, and I didn't get a fed refund this year

easy peasy tax refund

it took longer for me to compile all my documents and make summaries than it took to finish my taxes. directions were easy to follow with help features for areas I did not understand.
