I've used Turbo Tax for many years in addition to professional tax software. I love that I can download investment information from my brokers and it autofills the D schedules that can be very tedious & sometimes confusing. Doing taxes is always going to be a chore, but Turbo Tax makes it light work.
What's great about it: Very comprehensive and assuring
What's not so great: Many questions when done continuously can be tiring & lead to more questions.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

excellent tax filing software

excellent software which makes tax prep/filing easy. makes tax filing simple.
What's great about it: since i'm familiar with TT, i can go right to the topics i need to cover, but get help when needed.
What's not so great: none

The process was ok, but when e-filing at the end, there were hidden fees that had to be paid that I didn't expect, since I had already paid for the software.
What's great about it: Cheaper than a CPA
What's not so great: Hidden fees that I didn't expect

It's a great product and really easy to use.
What's great about it: Questions easily understood, able to go back and make changes nicely, step by step procedure was logical and made sense
What's not so great: Couldn't enter a unique depreciation expense entry in Schedule C--had to enter the amount in miscellaneous expense.

Deluxe version to include state - No print option

After completing the review and going to filing, it will allow me to file electronically or print to submit for Federal returns, but not for state. I paid for the deluxe version so that I can file my state returns...
What's great about it: Was fairly easy
What's not so great: Can't print state forms to file??

I love the ITS DEDUCTABLE benefit
What's great about it: Allowed me to pay due with credit card and guaranteed my retrurns we received and accepted
What's not so great: Finishing process and payment a bit redundant
