This is the 2nd year in a row I found a flaw in the software. Last year, it misplaced an amount from one form to another; this year it would have penalized me on the state form when there was no penalty due because the amount due did not exceed a threshold.
What's great about it: Been using it several years, so generally familiar.
What's not so great: Inability to provide direct feedback

Took the pain out

All in all, I enjoy doing this for myself than having it prepared. I really feel confident in the results when using TurboTax.
And I got a great refund.

What's great about it: Works faster each time I use it! Very clear instructions.
What's not so great: At the wrap-up...how to save on removable device not clear.

a breeze to file and store

forgot to update my auto billing and ignored notice but with help of the turbo team was able to quickly download a 2014 premium version and filing was a breeze. complete my daughters and motherinlaws as well.
What's great about it: stored pdf and priior year data
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used this program for years and it is always easy to use, and takes me to sections on the web for review of questions I have as well as full explanations as I proceed in the program.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Make sure you have all of the documents you need before you start. Unless you have the time to pause and look around.
What's great about it: The explanations were easy to understand.
What's not so great: It does take about two hours of your time.
