Easy to use, but....

this is the 1st year since I've been using the software that I had trouble with e-file.
1. Federal wouldn't go through initially. Had to shut down and re-start turbo tax.
2. Cannot e-file state taxes at the same time as federal taxes.
A little disappointing seeing that I file my taxes around the same time each year and have never had an issue.
Should have included something in the software noting that state would not be available in this release. I expected to be able to get this all done at once. instead I have to do separate filing. Frustrated.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Unable to e-file state refunds

I have always had free filing for my state return. When did you make this terrible change.. Totally unacceptable. After using Turbo Tax for 12 years, I will not longer buy this product!
What's great about it: Tax prep was reasonably easy to follow. I have used Turbo Tax for 12 years
What's not so great: SHOCKED I could not file my state return for free. Will not buy the program again!!

Even a Single Mom can E-File

Used to do my own taxes before marriage, so figured not that I'm a single mom I could try it again. Was easy to use and feel confident I got the best refund I could.

As usual, Turbo Tax was a breeze to use, understand and process. I have tried others (by mistake) and will always use Turbo Tax until something really strange were to happen (like a total change in the ease of use.
What's great about it: easy, fast, well explained, for 4 years in a row

I don't know what we ever did before TurboTax. Now that we are getting social security and pensions our taxes are more complicated than ever!
What's great about it: It catches any errors AND it does all of the math for you.

Solid Reliable

Turbo Tax has changed since last year. The charitable deduction screen is tedious and the deduction from my refund was unclear. It's still better than the other software i once used.
What's great about it: accurate and trusted
What's not so great: emailing fee deducted from refund is confusing. didn't realize i didn't have Turbo Tax Plus
