Didn't e-file first time

I don't know why I couldn't e=file right away, but I have a MAC. I tried several times and finally quit trying. I tried again today just before I was getting ready to go to the post office and it went through. Yeah!!
What's great about it: Easy to fill out
What's not so great: Couldn't e=file until the following day

Easy to Use, Fast Return!

Turbo Tax is easy and quick to use in filing returns. Some questions in teh intervciew process may seem redundant, but this probably does make sure that you are maximizing your return.
What's great about it: Easy, fast

Problems filing

1. Opened TurboTax, get a message about updates, accepted the updates.
2. Went through the entire filing process and the at the very end, it was "Validating" and it failed. Message was "you need to update".
3. Got back in, same message about updates, accepted updates and got a message, there were not more updates.
4. quit program and restarted. Got a message that there were updates.
5. This time I quit, tried again, got the updates, and quit.
6. Next time I got in, updated, accepted, ask for more, got no more updates and hit continue.
7. Immediately went to the last step, it validated and transmitted return.
8. Very frustrating, You really need to understand this bug and fix it!

What's great about it: Everything until I had to file

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Multiple States

Due to a move I had income from three different states. TT made filing and refunds easy!

Couldn't E-file

The system would not let me e-file. Kept saying I needed to update the program, which I had already done before I began. I tried updating several times and I still couldn't e-file.
The system indicated that we had accurate PIN numbers for my wife and I. Finally gave up and I'm filing by mail.

Easy to complete and print

It was easy to find all of the things I could deduct, or claim, even after my spouse passed away last year. I had dreaded doing the taxes this year so much! There were so many new things to enter, but I was guided all the way. Thank you for a great product. I've used Turbo Tax for about 9 year.
What's great about it: I love that I can choose to get walked through all of the steps

GUFI (Graffic User Friendly Interface) - NOT

Controls and boxes that are presented in light-blue on white appear to be "greyed out" and inactive, or they are difficult to read. Either fire your graphic designers or beat it into their heads that the PRIMARY function of a user interface is to make it easier for the user to interact with the program. Making it pretty is a secondary goal.
What's great about it: The program works.
What's not so great: The [continue] and other buttons and boxes are in "stealth" mode
