Frustrating

This is the 3rd year that I have used Turbo tax. This was the worst year thus far as it would not let me send via e-file. I kept getting a message that e-file was closed for the season and I was attempting to file on 4/6/2014. I was able to complete this return only because your customer service person, Mel, was patient and knowledgeable. Without her, I would have been totally unsuccessful.
What's great about it: Was able to complete with the help of Mel at your 888 customer service number
What's not so great: Would not let me e-file and had a wierd incorrect date pop up

TurboTax the Only way to go

Why does anyone use a paid preparer? Most use Turbo tax or a similar program to do your taxes, you can do your own less expensively by using TT.
What's great about it: Easy to use through guided program

I've used Turbo Tax for years and plan to continue using it.
What's great about it: Very user friendly with no math errors!
What's not so great: none

I would love to avoid filing taxes yearly but I prefer Turbo tax to any other program.

Some items were hard to follow and some instructions were unclear. Some things change in Turbo Tax each year.

If the legal costs of creating a living trust estate were somehow deductible, that didn't show up in my routine filing.
What's not so great: quarterly payiment tax forms for next year were not produced with this return, for some unknown to me reason.

Better than what the government uses.

Tubro Tax is must better than the sofware we use on the VITA sites. Tubro Tax move information to the correct forms from the tax documents like W2's and 1099. The filier doesn't have to remeber to but the information in the correct form.
What's great about it: New about new Ohio tax law changes.
What's not so great: Didn't have help filling out the form for the new changes

Can't Remove Schedule C

It seems like it's impossible to remove Schedule C even thought I had no business income - aggravating.
You ought to make that a simple thing to do.
