I have used TurboTax from the first year it came out. To date I have not had any issue or problem with my returns, even though I've had several life events and changes. No doubts about continuing Turbo Tax this year and in the future.
What's great about it: The step by step guidance to completion
What's not so great: updates to turbotax not done until completion of return (before filing)

2013 TAX RETURN REVIEW

I had to transfer 2012 tax files from my old computer to my new computer for use in preparing my 2013 return.
At first I thought it went O.K. But the next time I went into Turbo Tax....guess what? No tax files!
I am not computer Geek enough to have solved the problem.
Luckily my friend (IT professional) was finally able to restore the files.........after an hour and a half of scratching his head!
We still don't know if the problem was caused by (MS)Windows 8 or Turbo tax.
You may want to consider a tutorial on transferring files from one computer to another....with Windows 8.

I had just a little trouble finding certain things this time and probably left out a lot that could have been deducted.
What's great about it: I like using turbo tax
What's not so great: I found it a little hard to navigate this time though

Another Easy Year of Preparing Taxes

I give TurboTax another A+ rating for making the income tax filing process an easy task even for an oldster who is retired but receiving income from a variety of arenas.
What's great about it: TurboTax had straight forward instructions, everything carried forward without problem to make my filing fast.
What's not so great: Had a little problems updating form 1040, but service representative took care of that issue quickly.

Good software for basic returns

I've used TurboTax for several years and think it is a good product. This year I had a complex K-1 that I had to report and it was somewhat painful. Needed to create several K-1 worksheets for a single K-1. I hope TurboTax improves this, and allows importing of K-1 forms.
What's great about it: Easy to use, carried over last year's return
What's not so great: K-1 worksheets need to be improved

total hassle & fail tonight doing e___File. Refused to accept the 5 digit pins I got from IRS site. Finally added a 0 to each.

This year, some sort of date issue kept appearing, which kept me from efiling our taxes. It kept saying that the dates I lived in my home state overlapped and were more than 365; yet I checked and it read 01/01/2013 thru 12/31/2013. I gave up and had to mail everything. First time I've been disappointed with turbo tax.
