Loved my refund and the process

This software is expensive and adds extra cost in fees for audit defense and service for calculating tax. Your software system is thorough in digging out every deduction and exemption allowable. Most likely I will return to my Enrolled Agent for 2014 because I turn 70 1/2 in 2014 and have three IRA/ Annuities being issued late this year. I tend to trust a professional in this situation rather than myself with the help of Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: detailed questions
What's not so great: Often needs a system administrator to update

I have used TurboTax for many, many years now. I have confidence in the program. I actually purchased a copy of the major competing program a couple of years ago and TurboTax won hands down. The refund was greater because better questions and more questions were asked.
What's great about it: Easy as always
What's not so great: Sometimes too much detail

Haven't had my copyedit business in 3 years, but still fighting with Turbo Tax about Sch C. Makes me enter vehicle information despite the fact that I am not claiming any tax information associated with this business or the vehicle. The fee charged to me in order to pay my taxes by credit card is outrageous!!!!! Have used Turbo Tax for 5 years. May have to seriously think about using it in 2014!!
What's not so great: No way to get rid of Sch C

I think the ability to review each part of the 1040 document as often as necessary is great.
In the charity section one has to think and find the documentation required for entries, coming back to this section on my own time saved me a great deal of frustration.
I am learning alot about the tax form itself.

Don't make me pay!

I knew something went wrong when turbo told me we had to pay $550.00! We are NOT rich! After a couple hours of re-checking everything, I found the error: Turbo thought I was listed as a dependent on someone else's return, so only one dependent was on ours. Finally corrected it and now we are getting a refund of $236. Big deal, huh? After all that trouble and worry-

No better way to do taxes! Reviewed my year, I learn what I need to watch and keep track of during the year, and I save money. I'm afraid to turn my taxes over to anyone but Turbo Tax. Even though I am a computer infant, I would rather do my own taxes on Turbo Tax than let a professional do it. The government booklet for completing taxes is the bumpiest lump I have been exposed to. Thank you for making Tax Preparation smooth.
What's great about it: Clear, moved along, great for old ladies like me.
What's not so great: Corrections need more clarification.

Have used turbotax for years, find it easy. Am annoyed at having vouchers print on copies as well as originals.
What's great about it: 1. ability to work from forms 2. ease of getting to worksheets, 3. the brief tax references
What's not so great: I had income from companies who sent no 1099's as I didn't have their FEIN, so you wouldn't allow me to send electronica
