So easy!

Have used Turbo Tax for the last seven years. Does all the work for you. Takes you step by step and checks for any errors.

Need quarterly estimates as the quarters progress

I need to build the tax information during the year. Quarterly estimates need to account for what has happened each quarter.

Had to wait

When i first filed, I had to wait due to forms not being "ready", I tried repeatedly, and had to keep waiting. When the forms were ready, I had to retry many times due to "updates" being available. i "updated" several times in a row, and it still wouldn't work, still saying more updates were required. I tried 1 more time before I was going to mail it in, when it finally worked. It would have been much faster, and I would have had my return by now, if I had used the free online program.
What's great about it: I loved that it imported my W2
What's not so great: I had to retry many many times

In my opinion Turbo Tax is a great program, I've used it for years. It is easy to use and reliable. Tax preparers even use it.

What's not so great: Sometime you have to add more then one thime

Love TurboTax. goes through everything. could use summary assistance at the end of what things to do for this next year to benefit on taxes.

Better than visiting and paying a cpa!

When I had questions re the early withdrawal from my IRA, I had to spend a LOT of time reading and re reading to understand why Turbo Tax was calculating a penalty when I had paid the taxes at withdrawal.
What's great about it: logically guided program
What's not so great: Not all descriptions were easy to understand
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
