Refunded

American Opportunity Credit was denied because I was not a full time student. I was, however, a full time student, but I paid the tuition last year.
Otherwise, I got more of a refund this year than I normally would have gotten.

What's great about it: I think I got a lot more money this way than by filing by hand.
What's not so great: I think this excluded me from the American Opportunity Credit.

Bizarre updates at end changed the return amounts

The program was pretty good. It helped me keep track of things reasonably well. When I went to file, it said I needed to update the program. Really, it had just told me I was up to date. 4 updates later . . . And my return amount went down after the updates.
Very strange.
What's great about it: This was a good combination of easy to use and staying close to the return
What's not so great: Extra charges for stuff that was supposed to be included

Consistently Easy

I have used Turbo Tax for years to prepare our tax return. It is consistently easy, user friendly and reliable. Even if you don't have tax experience, the question and answer process makes things so simple! In addition, it is easy to navigate around, if you need to revise or revisit a section. Overall great product!
What's great about it: Clear and concise
What's not so great: Nothing!

What's great about it: easy to use, easy to read and understand, steps were easy to follow. they answered my questions, filing was made simple
What's not so great: aside from me forgetting to push the right button, nothing bad.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Before you ask for medical and biz deductions you should give the percentage they need to exceed.
You keep asking for a sales tax form but never provide 2116 is it?
Why do you not have in your data base the K1 data of the few that issue K1's

My co-pilot to filing my return!

I tried hiring a professional tax preparer two years ago and did all the paperwork for her. I decided to go BACK to Turbo Tax the next year! There was no second thought this year, I immediately sent my husband to purchase the current CD of Turbo Tax as soon as I received all my copies of our income. Perhaps I should give myself the fee we paid out to the professional tax preparer!
What's great about it: I loved that it imported info from previous yr. and that I was able to forward and backward to update info!
What's not so great: I had a hard time being able to add my info to sign in on my acct. to add credit info.

Great Product year after year

I have used this product since it came out. I still use the Guide Me even though I do not really need it, but it is nice to have it walk you through the steps and answer questions. Product gets better every year.
