Turbo Tax forever

I have used turbo tax since 1988, I don't see anything out there that can possibly be this good!

Just a few details on the cons.
1) If you know tax code, it helps speed things up. For example, you can only itemize medical expenses if it exceeds 7.5% of gross income. But turbo tax (TT) will let you begin this process, to how far I don't know. But most of us with medical insurance don't come close to spending that much. But, with ObamaCare maybe we will?
2) Taxes paid subsection in the deductions section are not clear. I used Turbo tax last year so TT should have known what I paid to state in 2013 based on the difference between what I had in 2012 withholdings and what I owed. So the first time through I skipped that question. I went back however and input the amount I actually paid last year to state to cover the amount short on 2012 state income tax and TT gave me more deductions! It said everything was fine and I was due a bigger refund in the end.
3) In the section on charitable gifts of merchandise, the "custom" section to enter my own estimate of an unusual item not covered in the Turbo list was not obvious. I only found it when I used the search and it came up empty.

You may tell that due to the detail on these cons, I thought this product, overall, to be very good.
What's great about it: Leads you right through all questions and even checks answers.
What's not so great: It helps if you know tax code somewhat.

This saves me so much time and reduces the chances of me making a math mistake. I really love the e-filing and history from the prior year.
What's great about it: Clear instructions
What's not so great: No long-term history kept of what school deductions used for each child

I would like a list of all the documents I need to find. I do like the way you can put in the goods you donate and get an idea of what they were worth-I was always terrible at figuring that out

Waiting to finish

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. It's my favorite tax program. Many years ago It's Deductible was available to use year round. I wish it was sold separately to use all year, I procrastinate doing my taxes because it takes so long doing my donations.
What's great about it: I like the step by step process
What's not so great: Not having "It's Deductible" separate icon to use all year long

Price of the software should include the cost of filing
