Good and generally simple

For most straightforward returns, Turbotax does the job reasonably quickly and efficiently. My return , admittedly a relatively simple one, took less than a day to complete. The forms are intuitive--not a play on words. If I had a single complaint, it can be difficult to find typo numerical errors. While cruising through the return, I entered an additional 0 in one category. I could tell the error was there from the running total of what I owed, but it took me 10 minutes to find the actual typo. Other than that, the program provides nearly all of the neccessities. You can choose to print or save as a pdf. The program autoloads information from prior years that you used the software--no more searching in old returns for arcane data. Overall, I have used the program for six years and remain satisfied.
What's great about it: Clear instructions, easy to load forms
What's not so great: Can be difficult to make corrections

Initially, it was difficult to print Federal return but efile state return.
I was disappointed that I had to pay additional $ to efile my state return after purchasing my version of Turbotax.
What's great about it: automatic download of capital gains, etc. and personal data
What's not so great: a little "clunky" to navigate at times

Turbo Tax is Well Worth It

Year after year Intuit seems to make the product a little bit easier to use. This year, the It'sDeductible turned out to be very helpful and easy to use. Thanks!
What's great about it: Transferred last year's info, ability to choose which forms to look at, and It'sDeductible
What's not so great: Taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I cannot imagine a more thorough, convenient, and faster way to file taxes. As long as you have all documents at the ready, it literally can be accomplished in a matter of minutes.

Error at end!!!!!

Received transmission error and kept making to download update. Finally closed program down and rebooted and it went through on 4th try.
What's great about it: No problems at all with routine stuff
What's not so great: Error in transmission at end

Accurate Intutitively Dependable Tax Experience

I really enjoy this process. I can honestly say that with Turbo-Tax I look forward to doing my taxes (a task that in the past manually was a nightmare). I feel I am in control since with T.T. I understand all steps,tax rules/laws that apply to my situation. In the past I filled out my tax forms and actually mailed them to the IRS and crossed my fingers and said a prayer that they were correct. I am sure in the past I paid a tax or obtained a refund with out ever knowing if it was correct. ( Should I have recieved a bigger refund or Will I be audited ??)In the past I often said it's better to pay and get no refund, as long as I am not audited by the IRS. After becoming a Turbo-Tax user. I feel very confident that my Tax Return is correct and more importantly I understand what I am doing at Tax-time and throughout the year to manage my tax position correctly and completely. I sleep very well knowing that I chose and use Turbo-Tax. Thank you
What's great about it: Easy, Understandable, User-Friendly process, Explains, guides and directs and instructs you all along the way.
What's not so great: some times it takes you on a side-path that is not too clear and results in no action required.
