I have been using Turbo tax for years

I have been using Turbo tax now for over 5 years and with the guide I feel I have found every deduction and it has made it as easy as could be to file your taxes.
What's great about it: Ease of use just follow the guide

I've used Turbo Tax for years, and I always enjoy the speed and accuracy with which my taxes are done. I can always file on time, and I never have to worry about missing deductions. My forms were sent, my file accepted, and my refund returned all within eight days--it's worry-free! Thank you, Turbo Tax and Intuit!

Turbo tax made filing my taxes easy. It walks you through the forms step by step. If you have any questions on what you are doing there are video and texts tutorials that explain everything you need to know.
What's great about it: Walks you step-by step through the process.
What's not so great: Don't forget to check for updates before you file a return.

Great way to personally do income taxes!!

Easy to get in and out of if you only want to do a partial (rarely do you have all the reference material that you think you need; you end up having to delay completion). Fairly comprehensive and offers links to download IRS documents for more thorough review and study. I've been using TurboTax for probably more than 10 years and it seems to be getting better with time.
What's great about it: Quick ,easy, easy to complete partial and return to same spot
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I did my taxes within Turbo Tax and with a tax professional. The results were very similar except for the fees I had to pay the professional. Now I just go with Turbo Tax.

missing forms and shocking conclusions

I find the 2013 Deluxe edition to be less complete than in past years. An invitation to upgrade to the so-called Premier version popped up several times which I found annoying, and self-promoting, while the version I bought, was incomplete, (a form for the sale of business property). This was also very confusing, since it was not a business, but a private residence that was sold, on a contract. I was also not satisfied with the handling of my 1099-R rollover of my 401K. This was displayed as income for 2013, which it clearly is not, as far as I understand the meaning. It will not be income until I begin a distribution when it is required some years from now.
After having been a satisfied customer for the previous 5 years I may not use Turbo Tax in 2014.

What's great about it: Cheaper than hiring a tax expert to do my taxes.
What's not so great: I filed a 1099-R with box 7= G which was a total IRA roll-over distribution. The full amount was shown as INCOME.
