Relatively easy to use, e-file, comparison to national averages, to last year, a plus.
What's great about it: Relative ease of use, e-file option, connect to IRS help

very poor this year.

had to call three times at different levels of problems, beginning with the fact that it took my state filing fee but didn't allow exile due to errors in updating, so i had to call for a refund, which wa scone quickly. Then, i asked for a new online copy that would allow exiling without errors. This was one. Then, i couldn't find the confirmation number location for a free filing for state which was offered since i had so many problems this year. It was found and done.
It should be noted that all people I spoke with were perfectly nice and helpful. My complaint is that some apparent glitch in the software caused all this mess in the first place.

What's great about it: has Schwab info downloadable automatically
What's not so great: nightmare update problems prevented exiling even after updates this year.

No Free E-file

Your program kept on telling me to update. I did, and it still wouldn't let me E-File. The program told me to mail it instead.

Stressed Out after Christmas stress

It started with my info and I figured the tax refund was a mistake. Had to go back and see where I input my husbands info. I guess I'm still not savy about this program.
What's great about it: The easy step-by-step, like an adult holding an adults hand
What's not so great: I was confused when it showed only my income and not my husbands info

We have used Turbo Tax for many years -- it is an easy way to make sure income tax forms are complete and accurate

One minor bug, but otherwise great

I've been using TurboTax for the last twelve years, and highly recommend it to all.
This year, it was the same familiar experience, so much so that I hardly noticed the changes. What I did notice is fewer bugs -- fewer inscrutable errors on forms at filing, etc. It felt like ItsDeductible contributions went faster than before; it was nice to fill in the deductions straight from TurboTax and not importing it from a separate website.
I did hit one very minor bug: after I created a donation with ItsDeductible, the application wouldn't let me change the date. It just kept making a new donation with the different date and one item on it. Spank the QA department on that one. But they must have upped their game on everything else, because I finished in record time and had no surprises.
What's great about it: Nice streamlining of ItsDeductible
What's not so great: Can't edit date on ItsDeductible contribution after creating it
Pros: I bought or sold investments
