Typically efficient

I want to be thorough. This program, if you follow each step-by-step ensures that your review is thorough. The only issue is that sometimes I do need to go through a section for a 2nd time just to ensure that I've understood the process. Then again, this is the U. S. Tax Code we're talking about, so I understand that the code is not easy to understand. This program allows for me to do my own taxes whereas I would otherwise probably not attempt.
What's great about it: Does all the math. Ensures that I cover all aspects in the walk through.
What's not so great: None

I've been TT for about 15 years, and it has gotten better each year. I wish Intuit could bring the price down a bit.

I have used TurboTax for at least 20 years and have always been pleased with the ease of use. It seems at least each year it reminds me of a deduction that I have forgot. Great product

Too Easy

I find this software to be very thorough in asking all necessary questions and addressing every scenario that applied to me. Considering the complexity of the US tax code, this does a really good job of navigating through it. The only way it gets easier is if our government fixes the tax code.
What's great about it: Thorough, yet simple

What's great about it: It did not quite follow the tax forms but it was fun.

My 2013 experience

I have routinely used TuroTax to prep our returns, make copies and present them to our tax attorney for a "review" and then submit. To date, this has served our needs. Our returns have their own unique complexities from year to year.
What's great about it: - Lots of resource info available in the software and on-line - Easy process; step by step & forms

Although, I find the product user friendly and have used TurboTax for several years: I would like to easily research tax questions via internet from TurboTax.

schedule A on my federal tax copy did not print together and in sequence with federal forms and forms required to file my state return printed out of sequence Issue with schedule A for the federal return, again.
