As Easy as It Gets

I've used Turbo Tax for over ten years. I get a great return each time and it is very easy. I feel secure that I am filing a proper return and that I am not missing out on any deductions. Thank You Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Walked me through everything
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

We made improvements to our house prior to selling it, sold it and bought a new house plus added solar panels to it. Turbo tax automatically answered and filled all the questions for us; loved it!
What's great about it: Easy to follow.
What's not so great: None!
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Ate my homework!!!

Completed my whole return, but wanted to check some #'s before filing. Saved, exited, came back 2 weeks later, and Turbo tax started a new one!! MY 2013 saved file did not exist.
What's great about it: as always, easy to use, comfortable prep & filing process
What's not so great: it threw away my 2013 return!!

The question and answer process leads you through the process but sometimes doesn't tell you what is is doing. I took me quite a while to understand the 2000 child credit. It just showed up with no explanation as to why. Which made explaining it to my spouse difficult.
What's great about it: Easy to follow led me right through the process
What's not so great: Pop up answer boxes were sumetimes a little vague

I had an un-ordinary situation of early retirement and a roll over from a 401K. Turbo tax made the task easy for me to follow and file with confidence.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and covers the most extreme of situations!
What's not so great: No real cons that I could identify.
