I have been using Turbotax for approx 20 years. Each year they exceed my expectations. No application is perfect, but I trust the product and their services.

Never easier

There were a few years ago, 2010 & 2011, when it was extremely hard. Part of it was I had an old computer and part was I would file my mom's taxes then do mine and the program just did not work as well as it did on the first return I did. Since the 2012 tax year, working on a new computer - Turbo Tax works very well. No problems - makes doing taxes very easy. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Updates worked great, was very easy to fill out forms and efile
What's not so great: Printing sometimes came up gibberish

I have been using TurboTax for many years and will continue to use; as it is easy tp prepare taxes for federal and states.

Complicated Year

I had breast cancer this year. I went through each medical set of questions which made it easy. I have an HSA which has been a pain with other software. I will always use Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Your software checked everything!

Glad that Process is Over Again

Overall, a comfortable process using TurboTax software. Contacted Support Group about some confusing State conditions, but Help personnel were GREAT and researched problem. Their solution resulted in the easiest tax filing we have done in the last couple of years.
What's great about it: QUICK and calcs done by TurboTax
What's not so great: none really

Wonderfully easy

I am so appreciative of TurboTax. It takes a great weight off my shoulders to have TT walk me through the process and then TT fills in all the various forms- I just hit "Print!!" Worth its weight in gold. And, I sure do like maximizing what I get back without paying half of it to someone else to do it- and they probably use TT anyway!
What's great about it: The questions walk you through it.
What's not so great: No cons.

TurboTax still reigns for personal Federal taxes

I've used TurboTax a number of times, and other tax preparation software packages, and really prefer TurboTax. The guidance Intuit offers as I go through my taxes makes sense, I have the flexibility to go directly to particular areas if I want, and all I need other than TurboTax is a master list of documents.
What's great about it: Easy to use, options for guided or self-selected paths offer great flexibility, hard to mess up
