What's great about it: Like the Reviews. Makes me feel like everything is correct.

have never had problem with turbo tax programs before on old desk top but tried to use newer laptop this year and ran into problems.
What's great about it: all fine and very easy
What's not so great: several nice long chats with your c/s.my problem not theirs

Easy Breezy

Just got a new computer & transferred all prior yr returns to it. Once I discovered I also had to install each prior year TT disc, it was easy to do. Just wish that current version of TT would be able to recognize and read all of the .tax files from prior years.
What's great about it: Easy to transfer to new computer
What's not so great: Have to install each separate yr

Not worth the money for the program.

If you have few deductions than the program won't help you. If you have many, then you're better off with a real live tax preparer.
Why would it be difficult to add a simple explanation as to why a list of lengthy deductions I added in were not used? Is it that difficult to add a pop-up that explains that the standard deduction was higher than the itemized total? Why not have better "help" function when you ask a question about deducting mortgage interest? Why not have a warning that the standard deduction is fairly high, so it may not be worthwhile to go through the hassle of itemizing? I've used TurboTax for years, but I've had enough with the lousy instructions and worse "help" and FAQs. I won't use it again.

What's great about it: It's printed and does the math, so it's neat.
What's not so great: The "help" section is useless, as are FAQs and the prompts.
