It's the best!

TurboTax gets better every year. This year I was able to complete and file everything in less than an hour!

Disappointed in not being able to e-file

Since my only W2 shows 0 in box one and is third party non-taxable sick pay, I am unable to e-file and must mail in return. Turbo Tax should be able to fix this.
What's great about it: Everything except not being able to e-file
What's not so great: E-file not available to to a W2 showing third party sick pay

Done with Few Frustrations

Overall, I'll be using it again unless something changes dramatically in my life - it has made filing my taxes much easier than in the says before Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: It walks you through step by step and allows you to double check yourself
What's not so great: Some of the explanations were a little confusing

Because of my daughter's school location, she made money in two states. In the past, I was able to download my home state for free with the purchase of the Deluxe package. This year that changed. I had to purchase two states and they both were higher in cost than in past years. I will look at this option carefully next year - if another program offers the one or both states for free, I will be purchasing that program instead of Turbo Tax. I have been a TurboTax user for over a decade. You got me this time with the change and additional charges. Not again.
What's great about it: I was able to complete my daughter's taxes with relative ease.
What's not so great: I was extremely disappointed in the change causing me to purchase both the Wisconsin and Minnesota tax forms this year.

As a returning user much of my info was preloaded. Also by having last years deductions on file i was prompted to look at a few I had forgot

This is my first time filing. I told my Dad to use Turbo Tax and save himself $400/annually.
What's great about it: Didn't take me over 45 minutes to complete and file
What's not so great: No issues.

Extremely Helpful with Computer Hardware Issue

Turbo tax helped me download a copy when my hard drive stopped working, with very little questioning.
We paid a lot this year, and we knew we had it coming. It would be nice to understand in words what trigged ATM and extra medicare taxes.
What's great about it: Provided a download when my computer could not read purchased copy.
What's not so great: Since Turbotax does all the work, it is sometimes hard to figure out where all the numbers come from.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
