Reliable, but could improve Education portion...

I've used TurboTax for over 15 years. Great product, continues to improve but has kept a fairly standard format. You know what to expect. Since one of my kids is now off to college, I would like to see TT improve it's walkthrough on how to process college 1099-Q 529 plan disbursements and 1098-T qualified expense forms. It's not obvious that the 1099-Q doesn't have to be claimed if the 529 disbursement is fully covered by qualified tuition/room and board expenses. Also, it's never clear if the dependent student's forms should be claimed on the parents' taxes or on the students. A little clearer guidance would help save a lot of time digging through all the information!
What's great about it: Easy and thorough, good links to information
What's not so great: College 1099-Q and 1099-T processing needs to improve

Turbo Tax does it again

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years now and every year I count on TT to deliver me and it does. As I have gotten older, I am much less interested in the why of tax preparations and I just want to get it done. I go through the entire interview and when it is done , I am done. I have total faith that all my income, credits and deductions are done completely and accurately. Again, I have used it for so long and it has served me so well, that I don't even consider purchasing anything else. I especially appreciate the final review and the audit check. They are a real source of peace of mind.
The one thing that I do have trouble with sometimes is that the final review can be confusing. When I go back to make the correction, it is not always clear what is being asked. I sometimes have to go back to the actual form to find the context of what is being asked. Other than that, I am very pleased with Turbo Tax.

Easy every year

I use TurboTax every year. Its easy and makes doing my taxes painless. It always catches anything I leave out. Im always confident that my return is correct. See you next year, TurboTax.
What's great about it: Helps me remember everything and new things too.
What's not so great: No Cons for me

Better than ever

We've used the same laptop to do our taxes for the last 4 years and TurboTax seems to run smoother and smoother
year after year, fewer "time outs" while numbers are being crunched.
The only problem we had was navigating back to the page where you choose to have some of your Fed refund applied to
next year's taxes, it didn't show up in help, but did in the
online help page. However the directions were confusing
since they referred to tabs on the left side of the page, like it was a different GUI.

What's great about it: Runs smoother and faster each year.
What's not so great: A litle hard to change inputs once you pass the page
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
