Easy to Use

It would have been helpful to have the software confirm how I wanted to apply my refund just before e-filing. I missed it the first time through. Thanks!

The final review sent me back to three sections where highlighted lines wanted an entry. There was no entry to make, so I had to put 0.00 on many lines to finally get approval to continue.
What's great about it: Generally good. Iliked the questions and answers section.
What's not so great: The final review problems.

Makes life easier

Turbo Tax makes it easier to get all the forms we need for our taxes. We have a lot of special situations. It save us time in typing and calculating all the math. We feel when we have finished that we have all our bases covered.
What's great about it: Does math calculations automatically
What's not so great: Format changes every year

Generally happy, but I noticed a small bus. inc. item for my wife , but I had not input anything for her of this nature. How could this occur? Makes me wonder if there are other things going on that are not evident or visible. Also, every year I get near the finish line and then something pops up that makes it imosiible to file electronically. this year it was need to download updates, which I had no notice of. Usually, there is a prompt if downloads are needed . Even after downloading the updates, Turbotax kept advising me that I needed to download such updates. I think there ought to be better upfront alerts about these things.

2013 Federal Tax Return Submission using Turbo-tax

I've been a Turbo-Tax user for many years and find this software/company (Intuit) to be first class when it comes to doing your own taxes using their software program. It's a breeze and anyone can do a long form return with a minimum of difficulty.
What's great about it: Very very easy to use
What's not so great: Didn't find or realize any

Perfect for any W-2 / W-4 Employee

This is great if you are a low risk person for audits. I have one job and one IRA cash out. If I was a business owner and had multiple expenses I'm not sure that I would do it with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: quick, easy, cost effective
What's not so great: You can stil forget something or enter something in error
