When in doubt, restart computer

This is my third year using TurboTax. Each year was different as we moved from one state to another and coped with different expenses and income sources. A big help was the way TurboTax carries over my basic information, so I don't need to redo it each year. The only problem encountered this year was that I couldn't e-file my return on the first try because the message said I needed to download an update. I did so, but it still wouldn't allow the e-file. A call to TurboTax customer service yielded the suggestion that I restart my iMac, and this worked.
What's great about it: carried over info from last year so there was no need to input it again.
What's not so great: Encountered delay in transmitting returns electronically but this was solved when I restarted my computer, as suggested.

Helped me-and no sweating

Once again TurboTax comes through with a program that is accurate, up-to-date and easy-to-use. I feel confident when I finish my return and click "send" - not so before, when I'd second guess myself all the way to the post office and for several months afterward.
Please keep up the good work and the improvements you come up with every year.
What's great about it: Step-by-step progression through the process
What's not so great: Having to scroll to the bottom every time I went back to the home page.

Easy to use, much faster than old-fashioned way

I use TurboTax year after year. I started using it after I made a math error on one of my state forms. Works like a charm. Keep making it, I'll keep using it.
What's great about it: Easy to use, complete
What's not so great: I wonder if it handled one thing correctly

Been using for years with great results. It has become more complex due to tax laws but T-Tax does the job.
What's great about it: Comprehensive
What's not so great: Too much non tax promotion
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

It would seem that after all these years, Turbo Tax would have it figured out. They don't. It is very frustrating and may not cost a lot out of pocket...but requires a lot of time and stress.
Even as I try to submit this review...there are issues. i have to create a "unique" review nickname for some ridiculous reason.
What's great about it: Very little. Less expensive than a CPA...but is it really worth it?
What's not so great: Something as simple as submitting electronically doesn't work right and you have to rely on the community to get help
