Turbo tax is priced well, but I don't like that I also have to pay to e-file my state tax.
What's great about it: Turbo tax is very easy to use!

STATE RETURNS A MAJOR HEADACHE

Every time I opened up a tax file to do some more work on it, I had to go back and reenter codes for state non-taxable income over and over again. A complete waste of time. The program refuses to save those inputs.
I could not eFile my Fed and state returns at the same time. Would not validate my submittal. I wasted an hour trying to resubmit both together, along with getting new IRS filing pins. I finally tried submitting the Fed and State on separate file openings, and then it worked. If I cannot file electronically with ease, the utility of Turbo Tax is diminished considerably.
I wasted way too much time on my taxes this year with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: SAVES $$ BECAUSE DO NOT HAVE TO PAY HIGH COST TO TAX PROFESSIONAL
What's not so great: DOES NOT HANDLE STATE RETURNS WELL AT ALL

It's a good product. Could be a bit cheaper (like it used to be).
What's great about it: Step-by-step process. Good graphics. Easy to follow.
What's not so great: When there are questions or difficulties, it's tough to get answers. Long call wait times.

For me Turbo Tax Is perfect I recommended to a few people and my family also because they spend a lot of money on professional CPA and I told them this is easy and very secure and safe.

PROBLEMS FILING

Real trouble using eFile this time. Have just filed federal. Will now fight with State.
Screen kept saying I needed to enter a phone number, but I had entered one already. When I got past that , the transmit failed.
The it said I had updates. Ran the check for updates - but no updates available.
Awful experience. Not looking forward to trying to get State 0done too.
Not sure I will use Turbo Tax next year.
What's great about it: Easy but time consuming
