Handled multiple K-1's from different MLP's

Interview instructions become 'cloudy' forMLP's that have mutiple sources #countrys# of income. Not a very good explanation between foreign Tax choice of schedule A verses tax credit.
All in all, Turbotx makes the filing of income tax quite easy and very fast.
What's great about it: Down loading of brokerage firm's 1099's
What's not so great: no down loading of MLP K-1's
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Once again TurboTax made doing my taxes easy and stress-free! This year's version is even more user-friendly and I finished in record time. Highly recommend this program for your taxes!
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions.
What's not so great: E-file cost for State return not included.

Good Till the Last Step

All was well and good until it came time to e-file. Turbo Tax refused to verify the transmission, even after I checked for updates and installed them 3 times. Still have to file my return by mail.
What's great about it: It was easier than I thought
What's not so great: It refused to verify, and I still have to mail in my federal return

TT is easy to use. Wish I didn't have to pay to e-file state return. Wish it recognized last year that I had said I had Tuition expenses deducted when I really didn't. Fortunately, I can get that back this year. It should also tell you to do the parent's taxes first before doing kids. Last year, I found out the hard way that I should have done that. I had to amend and resend my daughter's return. Fortunately, I was able to do that before the April 15 deadline.
What's great about it: can use for all of us
What's not so great: Have to pay for e-filing state taxes for college kids

I like turbo tax but feel that you are getting less 'user friendly'..
I' m sure everyone on your staff knows how to get around the system but you need to respect that your users only do this once a year.. you hold our hands very well thru the process of asking the correct questions to file an accurate return - but you are loosing us at the end #printing, saving files#..

You also need to stop trying to sell additional features/products during the tax prep process.. Do it at the end or begining - you are causing confusion in the process..
Keep in mind - an ever increasing number of your clients are seniors - good. simple instruction will help you retain seniors..
What's not so great: difficult to print returns - need some clear instructions
