1) It is far too cumbersone to have to enter municipal bond interest in two separate entries--one for the state taxable amount and one for the state tax-ree amount. Allow a single entry and simply divide the amounts into separate categories.
2) allow you to alphabetize charitable contributions so you can find them easily in future years.
Very good overall

Mac version is very buggy

The Mac version of TurboTax 2013 is very buggy. Every time you check for updates, it finds new updates (if you check every 5 minutes, new updates are found and downloaded over and over again). Then when you try to file your Federal and State taxes via e-file, it fails because it says updates are required. After hours of uninstalling and re-installing the program (which did NOT help), the only solution was to e-file Federal and State separately, which seemed to "work around" this bug. What a colossal waste of time. Doing some Google searches, this problem appears to be widespread among TurboTax Mac users. TurboTax needs to focus on their quality control and hire some better Mac programmers. This is just plain SLOPPY!
What's great about it: Interview process is easy
What's not so great: Mac version is very buggy - endless updates are required

Some unfavorable changes

If I remember correctly in the past as you worked with input work pages, the screen showed last years numbers. I don't like waiting for the summary to see those numbers. Also, in past editions there was a mechanism for updating the software in the very beginning. This time in came toward the end and some of the pages I needed were not available as I was working. These are unfavorable changes and I wish you would return those items to next years program.
What's great about it: Very thorough
What's not so great: Need to show last years numbers on work pages, need to update in the beggining

I have used Turbo Tax for years and will continue to do so.
I would not know what to do without it.
What's great about it: Streamlines Filing
What's not so great: The US Tax System, Not TurboTax

Excellent for Short Sales with 2 mortgages!

I waited until now because it was so difficult to add 2 1099-C on H&R Block. I was sweating over picking a CPA and having enough time to file. Thankfully, Turbo Tax let me add all that in the interview, and no need for a CPA!
What's great about it: Could input more than 1 1099C related to short sale.
What's not so great: First time using it. Learning Curve.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
